It was a hot and arid day. The sun crawled across the sky as the townsfolk below toiled down below, friends from the neighboring lands waited restlessly in preperation. Whispers of traveling fighters had reached the ears of the small shire and they were prepared for the worst.
From the roads came a small group of men. Far they have travled from the lands of Sanguine in search of Kaembryge to see if the rumors of mighty warriors was true.
As they approached, dark clouds started to gather overhead, a scent of moisture that had not been smelled in months started to perfume the breeze. They called for our warriors we in responded in force, showing our great numbers. Arrows were shot, sword met sword, and spells were hurled as the battle went on. By the end, the rumors of warriors were proved true and both sides started to have the same opinion of the other. Hands shook, brothers in arms we all became, and then the rain started to fall.
Slow at first, but soon a torrent of rain drenched the fields. We looked in amazement at the abundance of water that we had not seen in so many months. Our children played in the rain and our turnips soaked up as much as they could. It was a perfect ending to a very satisfying day.

“A true artisan knows three great lessons by heart. Knowledge to plan the task, Patience to temper the process, and where the key to the wine celler is when the first two lessons fail.” ~Cookie~

Well what a week, what a week. Theres not a punchbowl to be found, not a spell to be said, and not a turnip that didn’t get watered, but none of that dettered me from my duty. I went in search around the town to see what doings are going on and I found three key points of intrest…
A representative for TrollHead Conglomeration was seen at the local market, the bakers, the butchers, and the party store. Upon further investigation, it was reveled that they were requesting food, snacks, and something called “munchies” which must be a trollish dish of some sort. It would appear that they are planning some sort of party or feast.
Our dear old stitch witch is back at her shop, filling orders for garb and dyes. She was previously seen trapsing about the forest jinggling bells. She still refuses to answer any of my questions, and just stares at me with worried eyes. I also noticed the bell above the door to her shop was missing.
Lastly, a great bird, or at least I think it’s a bird, has been making quite a ruckus in the skies. Its very high up and looks somewhat like a bird, but fireballs have been seen shooting from it. This thing is making an awful racket and is disrupting my sleep. I propose a pretty coin to the archer who can fell this annoying creature.

Well for starters I would like to thank our new friends from Sanguine for coming and bringing much needed rain with them. We thank them for their offering and hope to fight side by side with them in the future. Next, the menu for our Midreign feast will be published on our Facebook site as soon as it becomes avaliable, if it has not been posted already by the time you are reading this. Entry is $5 and all payments come to me. You can pay early or when you arrive at the event.
As a reminder, we are almost at the halfway point of our current reign under Enobria. Anyone who wishes to run for a position next reign needs to start thinking about the qualifications. Our offical Qualls day will be held a week or so before Endreign. If you have any questions about the requirements and duties of being an officer, simply consort the Capora or ask a senior member of our park. We ask that you please only run if you plan on being in the Waco area for the full six months of the reign, running for Kingdom level positions later on being the only exception.
